This granola is healthy enough for breakfast, and enough of a ‘treat’ to have as dessert. My favorite way to have it is as a morning snack with almond milk – which looks like chocolate milk by the time I’m finished!
In medium bowl mix together oats, walnuts, cocoa powder, cinnamon, salt, dried fruit and maple syrup and/or date syrup. Stir until well combined. DO NOT ADD CACAO NIBS UNTIL GRANOLA IS DONE COOKING AND COOLED!
Place granola on parchment covered cookie sheet and place in oven. Cook for 30-35 minutes, stirring twice during cooking.
