Recipe updated/improved 1/8/17.
I realize I have a brownie recipe on this site already but you can never have too many brownie recipes! This one is my favorite and really easy to make. I’ve made them for dessert aficionados and non-vegan foodies alike and neither could believe they 1) were made with black beans and 2) weren’t made with refined sugar, oil or eggs like most brownies. If you like peanut butter I recommend using it here, even though the flavor in the finished product is mild. If you don’t like it or can’t have it, by all means use almond butter or the nut/seed butter of your choice.
I love the flavor of a little salt with my chocolate and these quick, easy Salted Chocolate Brownies are the perfect thing for satisfying that craving! Made with healthy, whole food ingredients, these nuggets will make you wonder how you ever made brownies from a box.

I can’t wait to make these!
They really easy and yummy! I’d love your feedback once you make them. Thanks!
They look yummy. Will definitely be trying out this recipe! Thanks!
I hope you do! Please let me know how you like them!
I just made these and they are to die for!!! I omitted the nut butter and added an extra 1/4 cup black beans per your suggestion and they are perfect. I ate two right out of the oven. Highly recommend!
Laura was kind enough to bring me three of her brownies. I ate them all rather quickly. Delicious!
Love to hear that! Thank you!
We just made these last night, and they are delicious! I had the old recipe sitting in my binder begging to be made. My husband and I both thought that they were great. I love my brownies like fudge, so I thought that they were perfect, but now I will have to try the updated recipe as well. Thanks so much for the recipe!
Thank you for the feedback! So happy to hear you love them. If the revised recipe isn’t gooey/fudgey enough for you, just stick with the old one! The revised recipe is just a little more firm. 🙂
